You've heard how fantastic the training was for club members year after year, and you want to up your game to a new level. This is a fantastic value and it's hosted at a local venue.
This course encompasses skill level training for those who are seeking or possess a BCU 3 Star award.
The BC, or British Canoeing, has a long history of kayak instruction, which is valued and recognized worldwide as having a high standard of quality and depth of learning. Their Star ratings system reflects a curriculum that puts you on a definitive path of growth towards becoming a better kayaker. There are regional branches of the organization in many countries including Paddlesports North America.
John Carmody is a highly qualified and respected Kayak instructor, who brings a wealth of practical experience and skill to enhance his student's learning. I have taken training and assessment from John and find him to be a very caring and nurturing coach who is interested in seeing students succeed.

This is a highly sought out, 3 full day event (not partial days to be traded), so please consider your conditioning level. This is training only - no assessment. Students are encouraged to focus on the training, not the award.
This class will take place at the Bayfield Peninsula to provide the participant the opportunity to learn in a wide varieties of conditions. Some driving to different sides of the peninsula may be necessary to seek optimum conditions. Camping at Little Sand Bay group site fees will be included.
