Join Inland Sea Kayakers' annual cold water immersion event. This is a good event to start your paddling season if you have not already. You will have the opportunity to do the following in cold water and in a controlled environment: - Check our your gear - See what it is like to be in cold water if you come out of your boat - Do wet exits and self rescues - Practice T-rescues - Practice rolling Required Gear - - Face Mask (COVID) - Kayak with spray skirt, bulkheads (or float bags), and deck lines - Paddles - PFD - Immersion wear - a dry suit is HIGHLY recommended for this time of year, wet suit is minimum. Warm shoes, gloves, underlayers, etc. - Paddle float - Bilge pump - Whistle - Water bottles - Extra dry clothes and jacket - Food if you want any
